That’s what Streat is all about , a mobile food-truck that takes Cook Serve Pray into the heart of communities across West Waterford and beyond.

Our dream is simple: go where people are, serve them with dignity, listen to their stories, and share the gospel.

To make this happen, we need to raise €17,000 to cover:

• Purchase of the food truck

• Equipment & fit-out

• Licenses & permits

• Initial operating costs

This truck will fuel one mission: love your neighbour, one plate at a time.

Why This Matters & Why It Works

I’ve spent years running street-kitchen outreaches not only in Ireland, but across the world — in Cambodia, Laos, and Kenya.

And here’s what I’ve learned:
Food opens hearts in ways sermons never could.

In Cambodia, a simple street kitchen sparked relationships that led to a church planted among families who had never heard the Gospel.

In Laos, serving bowls of rice and broth built community in places where public faith wasn’t always allowed and yet a praying, believing community began to emerge.

In Kenya, street kitchens didn’t just feed people; they built trust, healed divisions, and helped form a growing local church that continues today.

Now we want to bring the same simple, powerful model right here to Ireland with a dedicated food truck that removes barriers, reduces costs, increases reach, and puts us right where people actually are.

Right now we’re setting up temporary kitchens each time — heavy, slow, and limited.
