Flesh vs. Spirit.

Adam wasn’t deceived, he was influenced.
Eve was his flesh, his rib, and he chose to please his flesh over obeying God.

Let that sink in. He denied the Lord to avoid disappointing what his flesh desired.
We still do the same. Every. Single. Day.

Let me ask you this:
Are you willing to disobey God for the rest of your life... just to keep pleasing your flesh?
