For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat.
Matthew 25:35
“Lay the table. Light the lamp. Say the prayer.”
Cook Serve Pray will not be found in high towers or behind stone walls, but in kitchens, street corners, cottages, churches or borrowed halls. Our place is wherever the kettlee sings, bread is broken and a meal shared. Our altar is the the common table. We simply follow “The Way of the Table”, united by a shared rythym of hospitality, service and prayer. Our days are shaped by the sacred ordinary - meals cooked slowly, prayers spoken quietly, work done joyfully and strangers recieved warmly.
Cook Serve Pray - The Rule of the Table:
A table long enough for all
A meal simple enough to nourish
A silence deep enough to hear
A joy wide enough to send

At Cook Serve Pray, we are responding to the needs of local people who have little or no connection to Jesus. Many individuals in our communities are disconnected, struggling with life's challenges, and searching for hope.
Based at St Annes Church, Cappoquin, West Waterford, our mission focuses on two main goals:
To care for those in need by offering hot meals, practical assistance, and emotional support in a welcoming environment.
To partner with local churches across Ireland, helping them grow their capacity to reach out and support those who are disconnected from faith through training, resources, and hands-on outreach
Through food, fellowship, and care, we aim to share the love of Jesus and meet the practical needs of our communities.
